Nanook (“Polar Bear”) is simply just a sweet, sweet boy! He loves to play with his foster siblings but he also likes to relax and lay around. He is a beautiful boy with the sweetest eyes. He loves to have behind his ears scratched. He is loving towards all of the family but he is still coming out of his shell. Nanook likely never lived indoors before – his foster mom says he always looks at them hesitantly when coming in from playing in the yard, like he has to have permission to come in. He barks occasionally at strange noises (such as a slammed door) He loves to go play outside and loves to get treats. His foster mom describes Nanook as an exceptionally good dog, an absolutely precious boy who loves to cuddle. He does well with the cats, adult Dane, Dane puppy and small dog in the home as well as the two school-aged children. Nanook may be a year old or he might be younger; he currently is still very underweight at 75-80lbs. Nanook is looking for a loving, forever home that will continue to spoil him and show him how special he is.
